my Favorite taBloid

Being gay, i am in love with the newest gossip. Yes, i am that guy. Whether it be Lindsey's newest stint at rehab, or my friends on again off again relationships, I thrive on gossip. I am constantly checking my Facebook to see whats going on. I may get made fun of my lack of knowledge of  the worldly news, but as i say "if its important, someone will mention it on Facebook"

A friend of mine and his boy friend just got into a huge argument and, whether its my business or not, i checked Facebook constantly too see the status of the relationship (do we see where this one is going.) I soon realized that i was going to both of their pages checking through all the updates making sure that i didn't miss any of the drama. Subconsciously i was checking every time i accessed my page to make sure that i didn't miss any of  the arguments or most importantly, the "tell-all" update on the relationship status update.

 Eventually it came,

"Such and such" went from being "in a relationship" to "single."

At first i was relieved to finally see the out come, as if i were waiting for the cliff hanger of this weeks Parenthood (still no word on if Sarah will actually get married, or if the series was renewed for another season. Fingers crossed!) But then i began to think, These people are real they aren't some Primetime drama.

I kinda felt bad (doesnt happen often) that i was thriving on their updates on their relationship. I mean its SOO not my business but like the lives of the Kardashians , even if i say i don't care, i want to be that fly on the wall, and see what happens next.

Yeah the Kardashians (thats not a word according to my spell check.... i agree) are real people too, but they ask to put their every waking moment to America on TV, and they deserve every "read" that they get. They get paid for their drama.

Am i the only person that, even just for a shred of a second, feels guilty about this crazy infatuation, or am i just harping on the new "reality." Or is this even really that new?

Back in the day they might not of had Facebook, but they did have gossip, its just more accsessable now. People (i was gonna say women, but men do it too) want in your business, we thrive on other people misfourtunes. Man, woman, duck like creature from acient aliens that the guy with the hair said is real but we all know isnt but he is 100% positive without a doubt positve exsits... wait sorry thats another blog... any way, we all wanna know your business. You put it on the interwebs you aint safe son!

 any who...

At the end of the day i wish both of them the best of luck. They truly are both great people (contrary to what i said when i was on the bottle) and i wish the best for both of them. Yes i still, and will always be, that guy. I will always prey on your Facebook, your Twitter, or whatever social media you choose to put your entire life on for everyone (yes everyone, your future employer sees all) to see. So if you don't want me to know... Who am i kidding, gurl i know all. Dont kid yourself. Remember i am, and for ever will be, That1GayGuyGuy
